Genesis 18 --Last Days of Abraham
She died in the land of Canaan, and Abraham proceeded to mourn and bewail her.
By now, Abraham was an old man, well on in years, and Yahweh had blessed Abraham in every way.
Abraham said to the senior servant in his household, the steward of all his property, Place your hand under my thigh.
I am going to make you swear by Yahweh, God of heaven and God of earth, that you will not choose a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites among whom I live but will go to my native land and my own kinsfolk to choose a wife for my son Isaac.
And the servant placed his hand under the thigh of his master Abraham, and swore to him that he would do it.
Abraham married another wife whose name was Keturah.
She bore him Zimram, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah.
Abraham left all his posessions to Isaac.
To the sons of his concubines, Abraham made grants during his lifetime, sending them away from his son Isaac eastward, to the Land of the East.
The number of years Abraham lived was a hundred and seventy-five.
Then he died at a happy ripe age, old and full of years.
