The ship, while slightly smaller than Slave I, was given many of the ships signature upgrades, including concealed rocket launchers, an ion cannon, and a tractor-beam projector. Like Slave I, the only visible weapons on board the ship are two heavy blaster cannons. Under Fetts careful scrutiny, the MandalMotors created Slave III, an extremely powerful gunship.
Due to its large engines, Slave III has tremendous sublight speed. Due to its bulk, however, it is not as agile in combat as Fetts other ships were. It relies instead on its large arsenal; 2 heavy blaster cannons, 1 ion cannon, and 1 warhead launcher.
